To achieve this goal, the Kuwait Public Policy Centre (KPPC) has been aligning with the Kuwait Municipality who are developing the Fourth Kuwait Master Plan (4KMP). The 4KMP sets out the development strategy and planning to 2040. Operating at a range of scales including national, regional, and metropolitan, the 4KMP is guided by tenants ensuring respect for the environment, citizen focused projects, and sustainability.
To that end, the Kuwait Public Policy Centre (KPPC) worked closely to identify gaps and challenges in the policies of the KNDP 2015-2020. Based on a thorough research of existing economic policies, the KPPC developed a policy paper focusing on gaps and challenges titled: “Kuwait National Development Plan and Economic Policies”.
To that end, the Kuwait Public Policy Centre (KPPC) started with the identification of gaps and challenges in the KNDP 2015-2020 policies; with specific focus on the education and labor market. Within this context, the Center developed a policy paper, titled “Kuwait National Development Plan 2015/2020 and the Education- Labor Market Alignment Policies: Key Challenges, Gaps and the Way Forward”, that reviewed existing policies and assessed the main challenges and policy gaps affecting the education-labor market alignment within the Creative Human Capital pillar.
To that end, the Kuwait Public Policy Centre (KPPC) has been collaborating with global experts on developing health care policies to formulate a suitable plan to improve Kuwait’s healthcare system. Utilizing its relationships with international organizations, the center commissioned Dr. Sungsoo Chun, a renowned expert from South Korea, to support the developing of Kuwait's health care policy recommendations that will be incorporated into the Kuwait National Development Plan.
